Again from Peru, from the Salon del cacao y chocolate. One of our historical clients in Peru surprised the Jury of the Internatinal Chocolate Awards and some representatives of Valhrona who are interested in obtaining these seeds. The Cupuaçu (or grandiflorum!) is a tree similar to that of cocoa's one and is present in the Peruvian Amazon jungle. Cocama produced a chocolate with these seeds who presented with caution and a little fear last year at the Salon of Paris and yesterday, in Lima, literally has focused the attention of much of the Festival with this orange box "chocolate" made with these seeds extremely particular. At the end of the first day, the bars stocks have been exhausted!
