Bye, bye 2018!

The 2018 ended with Fbm increasingly engaged in the beloved Italy and in the rest of the world with important participations and sponsorships. Fbm, in this year, has participated in 41 events on every continent and has traveled more than 10 times the circumference of the Equator to perform this task and to better follow the dealers and customers. In addition to this, Fbm is increasingly a world leader in the production of machinery for the "Bean to bar" and, thanks to the many requests from every corner of the world, in this special year, has created an incredible network with five Schools in the world , on every continent (Fbm Areas!), which are responsible for teaching the "bean to bar" chocolate process. In the world there is no "network" able to teach, follow and suggest this process as the one that Fbm offers. The merit of this is the choice that so many hundreds of customers around the world have made by choosing Fbm for their chocolate "bean to bar". From bean to bar in the world. Asia.

Going on to talk about "from tree to bar", Indonesia has been the third largest cocoa tank in the world for years. Indonesian cocoa arrives at the big chocolate companies. But finally here too, something is changing. Artisanal chocolate makers such as Monggo Chocolate have chosen to start making their own chocolate from their own cocoa beans and have relied on us to do so. From bean to bar in the world. Oceania.

Oceania has two very important production currents from the "bean to bar". A similar to those in the US with a strong influence on raw cocoa in Australia. A second consists of "from tree to bar" that produce their chocolate transforming it directly from the cocoa harvested from the trees present in the islands of the South Pacific Ocean. Among these there are some producers who have diversified their production with coated or decorated products. One of the biggest and most important is in Fiji islands and is our dearest friend.

After the visit of the TV crew of "Barca Pulita" who produces documentaries dedicated to crossings with the sailboat. In one of the next productions, they will talk about the Solomon Islands and cocoa which is then turned into chocolate. Being Italian and having met some of our friends at the Solomon Islands, it was easy for them to come to attend the course at our Chocolate School of Legnano.
